Trained in Europe as a sculptor and goldsmith, Costin Lazar, who works out of his studio in downtown Toronto, is the designer and maker of the Silverbridge Collection. 

He established himself as an independent designer in 1979, his favourite media being sterling silver and eighteen karat gold for jewellery, bronze and wood for sculpture.

The European look of Costin Lazar's Jewellery is the result of his development as an artist starting at the Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest, best known in the context of modern sculpture through the influence of Brancusi.

Gabriela Lazar, trained as an architect in Germany came to Toronto in 1987 and thus completed the team behind Silverbridge. The collaboration between the sculptor and the architect leads to the dynamic, innovative and timeless jewellery collection we present online and in our Toronto boutique.
